Job Summary

Socket9 is seeking a mature, independent, and technically fluent Pre-Sales Executive to be a key player in our project-based software solution sales cycle. This role bridges clients, the sales team, and the technical team — owning the discovery, solution design, and proposal stages. You will contribute not only to sales tasks but also guide technical direction during pre-sales, support pitches, and work closely with tech leads and PMs to ensure the right solution fit. 

This role is ideal for someone with a background in software houses or tech consulting, who understands the business and technical side of custom software delivery 


Major Accountabilities

  • Lead discovery sessions with potential clients to understand their business needs and challenges. 
  • Translate client requirements into high-level technical solutions with clear value propositions. 
  • Design and present tailored solution proposals (web, mobile, AI, platform-based solutions) aligned with business goals. 
  • Prepare project scopes, rough estimations, and basic timeline planning in coordination with the development team. 
  • Deliver presentations, demos, or visual mock-ups to support sales pitches. 
  • Participate in RFP/RFQ preparation and bidding processes for government or enterprise clients. 
  • Collaborate closely with tech leads and PMs during pre-sale and handoff stages. 
  • Stay updated on technology trends, tools, and industry best practices to enhance solution quality and sales confidence. 

Job Qualification  

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, IT, MIS/CIS, or a related field. 
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in technical pre-sales, solution consulting, or software project roles. 
  • Strong technical understanding of software architecture, cloud infrastructure, and solution design. 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in both Thai and English. 
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage complex client needs, and drive proposals from end to end. 
  • Familiarity with SDLC, project estimation, and basic software development workflows. 
  • Previous experience in a software house or custom software development environment. 
  • Background in IT project management, particularly involving government or large-scale enterprise clients. 
  • Basic hands-on knowledge of programming (e.g., frontend/backend technologies). 
  • Experience preparing proposals and responding to public or enterprise-level RFP/RFQ processes. 
  • Ability to create quick mockups or wireframes for client demos.
